Version Originale 2 EXHIBITION
In 2018, celebrating its 20th anniversary, the FIFMA presented the exhibition Version Originale, in partnership with the Centre Tignous d’art contemporain in Montreuil.
This exhibition, at the crossroads of fine crafts and the world of cinema, revealed the works of ten international artists , brought together by a common feature: each had been the subject of a film presented during one of the eleven previous FIFMA editions.
In 2020, the FIFMA exhibition returns with its second edition: Version Originale 2.
Hosted by the Centre Tignous d’art Contemporain, from March 27th to May 9th 2020, this exhibition is dedicated to the contemporary approach of creation in fine crafts.
At the crossroads of fine craft and the world of cinema, Version Originale 2 highlights the works of 9 international artists brought together by a common feature: each is the subject of a film presented during the 2018 or 2020 edition of the FIFMA.
Ceramics, embroidery, textile, wood, paper…the selection shows a great diversity of materials and know-how, a singular artistic and contemporary approach.
