Est Ensemble

Since 2010, Est Ensemble has united the towns of Bagnolet, Bobigny, Bondy, Les Lilas, Le Pré Saint-Gervais, Montreuil, Noisy-le-Sec, Pantin and Romainville. With more than 406,000 inhabitants, it is one of the 12 new territories of the Grand Paris metropolitan area.

Est Ensemble boasts a significant population of the Paris region’s fine craft artisans and material artists, whether independent or tied to the great luxury fashion houses such as Cartier, Chanel, and Hermès – themselves present in Pantin and Pré Saint-Gervais. The institution is strongly committed to the promotion of the industry through its resource centre, la Maison Revel; events throughout the area such as the biennale Emergences (the next edition will be in October 2016); and numerous local projects, in particular for students.

Est Ensemble also runs the biggest public cinema network in France, with 15 screens in 6 movie theatres, including Le Méliès in Montreuil, Le Ciné 104 in Pantin and le Cin’Hoche de Bagnolet.
