Our new format
For its 10th edition, FIFMA is extending its scope and taking up new quarters at the heart of the Grand Paris metropolitan area!
An important anniversary for the International Film Festival on Crafts, which, on this occasion, has implemented two major changes: Extending its program and migrating from Montpellier to Eastern Paris.
FIFMA is aimed at fine crafts and cinema professionals, as well as a general public of all ages eager to discover the magic of matter, the skill of creators, and the world of singular fine crafts. Profiles, documentaries, features, animation films, experimental films all make up the program of the festival, the purpose of which is to celebrate the thriving alliance of cinema and fine crafts. Around forty films will be shown, accompanied by debates and conversations with the filmmakers, in Europe’s largest art-house cinema: Le Méliès, in Montreuil.
The theatre underwent a renovation in 2015, equipping itself with the latest technology: an updated sound system, soundproofing, high-definition; in short, the perfect recipe for an unforgettable experience built on human values borne by creativity – and where emotion takes over.
To be experienced from 7-10 April 2016 at le Méliès in Montreuil.
