Original Version – the FIFMA Exhibition

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, this year FIFMA is broadening. In addition to a large programme of projections and unprecedented meetings with the creators and directors,  FIFMA presents Original Version, a fine crafts exhibition at the Centre Tignous d’Art contemporain in Montreuil, from January 17 to April 8, 2017.

At the crossroads of fine crafts and the world of cinema, this exhibition presents the works of around ten international artists of international renown united by a common feature: each has had their work documented in films presented in previous FIFMA editions. This selection unveils a large variety of materials, practices and savoir-faire, guided by extraordinary artistic approaches.

All throughout its four month duration, the exhibition will be punctuated by meetings with the creators, guided visits and special demonstrations.
