* 2 steps are necessary to submit your film to FIFMA : you need first to upload your film on the platform, and once your film is uploaded and all the obligatory fields are completed, you need to apply to the FIFMA. Providing dematerialized films to festivals (no need to send a DVD) is paid for using credits. Your account must have credits to be able to apply to festivals. You can buy credits online in the “MyAccount” tab. Price for one unit is €2.50. With one unit you can submit until 10 films to a same festival.

Even though the Filmfestplatform can only accept films of less than 60 minutes’ duration, films longer than 60 minutes are accepted into the competition and must also be uploaded online. For such films, a duration of 59 minutes should be indicated and right-holders should contact the festival team to let them know the exact duration of the film.
